With the development of industry, many electrical equipment and factory equipment are powered by DC system, and the positive and negative poles of DC system are not grounded. For ungrounded (IT) power distribution systems, insulation resistance should be monitored to ensure the safe operation of the power supply system.
AIM-D100-T series DC insulation monitor can be applied in 10~1000V DC system, which is used to monitor the insulation resistance of the positive and negative poles to the ground of the DC ungrounded system online, and send out an early warning or alarm signal when the insulation resistance is lower than the set value.
The product is based on the principle of unbalanced bridge, which avoids the problem that the balance bridge cannot detect the insulation resistance when there is a ground fault at the positive and negative poles at the same time.
The products can be used in DC systems such as power generation manufacturers, DC panels of substations, electric vehicle charging devices, UPS power supply systems, photovoltaic DC systems, energy storage systems and other DC power grids.
Function and Parameter
Resistance monitoring function. The product can monitor the insulation resistance of the positive and negative poles of the DC system to the ground, and can send out early warning and alarm signals when the insulation resistance is lower than the set early warning and alarm value.
Voltage monitoring function. The product can monitor the voltage between the positive and negative electrodes of the DC system, and the voltage between the positive and negative electrodes to the ground.
Over/undervoltage alarm function. The product can monitor the voltage fluctuation of the DC system, and can send out an alarm signal in time when there is overvoltage or undervoltage.
Early warning and alarm function. The product has 2 sets of independently adjustable set values, which can set early warning values and alarm values.
LED indication function. The product panel has operation, communication and fault, overvoltage, and undervoltage LEDs, which can display the product status.
LCD display function. The product adopts 128*32 dot matrix liquid crystal display, which can display parameter information.
Relay output function. The product has 3 relay outputs, and can choose normally open or normally closed mode.
Event logging function. The product can record the time of alarm occurrence and the type of fault, which is convenient for staff to troubleshoot.
Communication networking function. The product has 1 RS485 interface and adopts Modbus-RTU protocol, which can be used for data interaction.
Rail mounting. The product is installed on a standard 35mm guide rail.
Plug and unplug the terminals. The product adopts plug-in terminal wiring, which is convenient for wiring and installation.

AIM-D100-T series insulation monitor adopts the installation method of guide rail, the instrument is mounted on a standard 35mm guide rail, and fixed with a buckle, and the installation can be completed. As shown in the figure below:
